The woman still heads the Lubiewo commune. This will be the second term for Joanna Jastak. Her committee also has a majority in the municipal council.
1,748 residents voted for the current mayor of the Lubiewo commune, which translated into 67.57% support. Her opponent – Marcin Lewandowski – convinced 839 people (32.43% of votes). Interestingly, despite as many as 45 candidates for the Lubiewo Commune Council, Joanna Jastak’s committee won the majority. The mayor will have 9 “her” councilors. KWW For the Lubiewo Commune did not propose a candidate for mayor, but 5 people from this group will join the council. Details are provided below. Compared to the previous term, there will be as many as 6 new names on the Lubiewo Commune Council. Marcin Lewandowski, who had previously been a councilor, lost the election for mayor, and in addition, not a single candidate from his committee will be elected to the commune council.
