More than 416 thousand homecoming travelers were registered to use long-distance train travel services during the homecoming flow. This figure was compiled from March 31 to April 9 2024.
“There were 416,499 travelers using the train until D-1 of Eid,” said Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwintoko to journalists, Tuesday (9/4).
Ixfan said that all the travelers departed from two stations in Jakarta, namely Gambir and Pasar Senen. Meanwhile, the destination areas are varied, starting from West Java, Central Java, to East Java.
“From March 31 to April 9 2024, 438,598 seats will be available with an occupancy percentage of 95%,” he said.
Especially on H-1 of Eid, the number of passengers was recorded at 44,005 people. This figure is divided into two, namely 24,681 passengers from Pasar Senen and 19,324 passengers from Gambir.
Ixfan said that today there are 75 long-distance train trips available. Consisting of 34 trips from Pasar Senen Station and 41 trips from Gambir Station. (Z-11)
