An amendment affecting the number of weekly study hours in educational institutions in Morocco.

It is expected that the number of weekly study hours in educational institutions in Morocco will be modified, following the Ministry of National Education officially worked on the possibility of amending learning hours in Moroccan educational institutions, to make them compatible with the goals sought by the Moroccan school.

In this context, the Ministry of Chakib Benmoussa began a few days ago to complete a national exploratory field study, entitled “On the management of school time and school and pedagogical rhythms in educational institutions,” the aim of which is to monitor the suitability and effectiveness of school time and the capabilities of male and female learners, and to present the compatibility of the current school time with developments. Educational.

The new field study seeks to examine the possibilities and opportunities currently available to reconsider temporal rhythms and school time, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the current model in achieving the goals promoted by the educational system.

The Ministry’s new study will go through four stages and basic stations, the first of which is documenting the results of managing and organizing school time and school rhythms, while the second stage will be devoted to completing the study and collecting and analyzing data. As for the third stage, some models of school time in some contemporary educational systems will be studied. The study will end in the fourth phase, which includes approving what was accomplished in the previous phases and submitting the final report before June 30.

It is noteworthy that the Inspector General for Educational Affairs was entrusted with the responsibility of supervising and tracking the field study in its various stages, with the assistance of the heads of educational affairs departments and members of the regional inspection coordination body in the regional academies.

The study sample consists of all those involved in the educational process, including students, parent associations, teachers, and inspectors, and includes all primary, middle, and secondary educational institutions in all regions of Morocco.
