Flood victims burned the clearing houses of ENFIA
 – 2024-04-10 09:04:20

Settlements to pay ENFIA were received by flood victims from the Nea Smyrni area of Larissa, despite the fact that the government has announced a three-year suspension of tax payments for those who suffered damages from the storm Daniel last fall.

In fact, to show their anger, the flood victims burned the settlements they received to pay ENFIA.

Surprised residents of Larissa complain that the government commitment they received following the floods, that there will be a three-year exemption, was not kept and they erupt, with liquidation notes in hand.

In fact, they are invited to pay the first installment at the end of April.

Citizens speak of taunting and frustration is widespread. Indignant, the residents are unable to meet the costs of rebuilding their houses, while some of them state that they never received the emergency aid from the state.

The three-year exemption from ENFIA was provided for owners of properties that have been destroyed or damaged in areas that have been declared a state of emergency by the Civil Protection due to extreme natural phenomena.

What does AADE say?

Specifically, as it informed yesterday with a Press Release regarding the liquidating ENFIA, AADE reiterates:

2. Citizens who meet all the legal requirements, but did not submit a relevant application on the Aid platform, as a result of which the AADE does not know whether their building has become unsuitable or dangerous or has been damaged, can submit an exemption application to the competent DOU of their tax department of residence, providing the required supporting documents, in accordance with decision A. 1272/2019.

The application can be submitted on the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr), in the “My Applications” application, under the Fund / Application for reduction or exemption from ENFIA route.
