Passengers at 35 InJourney Airports Increased by 21 at the Peak of Homecoming Flow

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) recorded serving 577,496 passenger movements at the peak of the homecoming flow for Idul Fitri 2024/1445H which occurred on Saturday (6/4) or H-4 Eid. This number jumped 21% compared to the same period last year which reached 476,851 passenger movements.

“We noted that there was a significant increase in passenger movements at the peak of the Eid homecoming flow this year,” said InJourney Airports Main Director Faik Fahmi in an official statement, Monday (8/4).

A total of 35 airports managed by InJourney Airports also recorded serving 4,157 aircraft movements during the Eid homecoming flow this year or a growth of 13% compared to the same period last year.

Faik said that the three airports with the highest number of passenger movements at the peak of the Eid homecoming flow were Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta with 187,750 passenger movements, followed by I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali with 34,315 passenger movements, and Juanda Airport in Surabaya with 23,087 passenger movements.

He emphasized that in the midst of high traffic trends, InJourney Airports, through the 35 airports it manages, is committed to realizing safe and comfortable flight and airport operations. (Z-11)
