The stock market day Apple is increasingly shifting iPhone production from China to India

Apple manufactured $14 billion worth of iPhones in India in the last fiscal year that ended in March, according to an agency report. Around 14 percent of the box office hit, and therefore around one in seven iPhones, now come from the subcontinent, as Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. This means that production there is twice as high as in the previous financial year.
Apple 169,67Of the contract manufacturers, Foxconn in China produced the largest share at around two thirds, followed by Pegatron from Taiwan at around 17 percent.
The remaining devices were manufactured in a Wistron factory in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, which the Tata Group took over last year.
