THE Lakis Papadopoulos, no introduction needed. He is the great musician-composer-singer who knows the recipe for success. More than 50 songs from his endless discography, such as “Serenata”, “Gia na s’ ekdkithos”, “Gyristroula”, “The speakers of the night” and many more remain unchanged over time. They remain indelibly in our memory and in our hearts, reminding us of the most beautiful moments in our lives.
His new record Hold me tight with the Valia Tsirgiotisis released by FM Records and has exactly the same purpose and character.
On Thursday, April 11, the Lakis Papadopoulos will take the stage of the Half Note Jazz Club and with his companion the Valia Tsirgiotis they will present songs from their new album, original pieces written especially for Valia’s voice and the world has already loved from the first moment of their release. From “What you say and what I say”, “Drama”, their duet in the song “What do you not understand?” Up to “Grab the sky” and “Hold me tight” (the song of the same name) of the record, while of course the song “Plakentias” performed by Lakis Papadopoulos himself already occupies a special place.
Of course, the program will also include all the great hits of Lakis Papadopoulos, our own Lakis with the high lapels, making the evening a unique opportunity to get to know in depth the Lakis of yesterday and today.

What Lakis Papadopoulos says at Eleftherostypos.gr
Through the record company FM Records, I met Valia Tsirgiotis with her mature voice, despite her young age.
A Greek voice perfect in everything, with its fines and lows, which can support from ballads to folk songs. And this she has proven through her collaborations with great composers, most importantly Mikis Theodorakis.
The first song, which brought the beginning of our acquaintance and collaboration, is “Hold Me Tight”. Then more songs were added, new and re-performed, which complete our new album. 14 songs in total that some of us remember from Arleta, such as “Silent evenings”. Of course, we also have our duet on “What do you not understand?”, but also the popular “You confuse me with another”.
I believe that I gave, trusted Valia Tsirgiotis 14 of my best songs and with her voice she “torn” them. We are very happy that our record, entitled “Hold Me Tight”, will be presented on Thursday, April 11th at the beautiful Half Note Jazz Club, where we will perform some of the tracks from the new record. Of course I will also take my guitar to remind you of the songs you have loved over the years. We are waiting for you!
