Region tab, as you can tell from the name, is for gaming. So, many of the technologies used in regional PCs are included. There is no fan, but cold front technology is applied. Software such as Lenovo Vantage used on PCs is also included. It’s an unusual setup for a tablet.
So I tried the game, and of course it worked. It’s comfortable. The processor is Snapdragon 8+ 1st generation, which has slightly higher specifications than the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Seeing that high-end games like Genshin Impact run smoothly, you don’t have to doubt its performance.
But we don’t just play games on tablets, right? My hobby is lying down and watching YouTube and Netflix. You can do this all day long. I took this on a business trip and was able to watch videos on a great screen very comfortably. First of all, the display has QHD+ (2560 x 1600) resolution. The screen is small, but this is quite high. The brightness is 500 nits, equivalent to a MacBook Pro. Since it is a gaming product, it also supports 144Hz refresh rate. I also liked the fact that it was LCD. In fact, OLED burn-in occurs in some areas if you keep YouTube on. However, there is no such problem with LCD.
Now, an even better thing regarding watching movies and dramas is that the sound is dead. The speakers are amazing. The sound is muffled because Dolby Atmos is applied. There is a sound that cannot be made from such a thin tablet. Let me tell you. Awesome, right?
I said it was comfortable to watch while lying down on a business trip. The reason is because of the folio case. Usually, folio cases only open on one side. This product attaches to both sides with magnets. Then you can stand it either left or right. So it’s very comfortable to look at while lying down. This is also a disadvantage. When I caught it, I was confused as to where it was. So, you have to go through the process of visually checking.
The terminals are uniquely spaced. It’s usually inconvenient to charge because it only has one terminal. If you use earphones, you may not be able to charge them, but this product has one on the side and one on the bottom. You can connect two at once. You can use one for charging and one for earphones. Depending on the angle, charging may be done in different ways.
Let me tell you regarding the drawbacks. There is an autopivot function. This function, which automatically rotates the screen when the product is rotated, occasionally causes errors. I turned it, but it didn’t turn. So there is the inconvenience of having to turn the screen off and then back on.
Another drawback is a chronic problem with Android. There are times when it gets a little choppy. It was bearable, but it didn’t feel very good. It’s expensive, but it seems like a cheap product. Even if it’s not Lenovo’s fault, it’s not good.
What if you use the product like a PC instead of playing games? It will be in PC mode. You can use it like a Chromebook.
The biggest problem, price. Honestly, I can’t recommend it at this price. So I looked into it and the correct price was 499,000 won. It’s out of stock right now, so the price is going up. When it is out of stock, you can buy it for 499,000 won. If you buy it with a Chinese ROM, it costs 320,000 won. Chinese ROM is a bit uneasy. In many cases, it becomes a brick. Spend just 100,000 won more to receive official following-sales service and coverage for accidental damage. What this ADP means is that it will repair your car for two years even if it breaks due to your mistake. That’s crap. Just play the game. Destroy everything. Don’t break it on purpose.
Now, if you ask me what is the best Android tablet at this point, I will definitely say the Region Tab. Enjoy the game anywhere on vacation, on public transportation, or at home with the Region tab. I hope you see as many good videos as I did.
Now, then, should you buy this product or not?
I want a good Android tablet. buy. There aren’t many shortcomings.
It is definitely cost-effective. Chinese ROMs are also fine. Don’t buy it. If the lowest price is important, buying the Chinese version may be an option.
