The tech mogul, 46, has garnered millions of fans – and an equal number of detractors – for his bizarre and “shameless” attempts to turn back time including swapping blood with his son, 17, and monitoring his erections.
Now, the biohacker has shared his extensive tips to help you sleep better and look years younger.
In an excerpt from her YouTube video “How I Fixed My Terrible Sleep,” she shares how to become a “sleep pro” with a consistent bedtime and “wind-down routine” that might change your life — and help you hang on to your youth for longer than you ever imagined.
“Sleep will give you superpowers,” she captioned the video. “It’s… the most important thing I do every day.”
“I’m going to share with you 10 things that will change your life. I’ve been a poor sleeper my whole life and I just recorded potentially the best sleep score in human history,” he said at the start of the video.
First he noted that you had to identify as a “sleeping professional.”
Brian explained that the current “grind culture” was stupid and by making rest your number one priority, your life would be “easier” and you’d look better.
“The second level is to have a consistent bedtime, this is very important because you tell your body that we sleep at this time every day,” he added.
The biohacker said you should try to aim for an early meal so you can sleep earlier.
For his third tip, Bryan said you should establish a “downshifting” routine that helped you prepare for bed each night.
“I would encourage you to create a ritual, read a book, go for a walk, do a favorite hobby, but avoid screens and avoid anything that will stimulate you, don’t fight and don’t deal with difficult problems.” he added.
He then said you should ‘eat early’, before revealing he had his last meal of the day at 11am!
He stressed that it didn’t mean others should do the same, but he said heavy meals before bed should be avoided.
Bryan’s fifth tip is to “avoid stimulants or anything that will disrupt your sleep, such as alcohol and caffeine.”
For his sixth tip, he said you should adjust the light you had at night.
He advises wearing glasses with blue lenses if watching TV screens.
Bryan then said that you should “maintain an ideal temperature” while sleeping.
He explained that while he can’t recommend a specific number, you should make sure you’re not “too hot or too cold.”
Bryan also said that you should create a “peaceful environment” for your sleep by making sure it’s quiet in your home and do nothing but sleep in your bedroom.
Finally, the biohacker advised you to try to get natural light within an hour of waking up.
