The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a man for allegedly killing his five-year-old son and injuring his mother this Wednesday morning in a home in Bellcaire d’Empordà (Girona), according to sources close to the investigation who have explained to Europe. Press.
The man has been located in Albons (Girona), a town regarding four kilometers from Bellcaire d’Empordà, and Catalan police officers will take him to the police station in La Bisbal d’Empordà (Girona) to question him.
The Mossos d’Esquadra received the “alert of the serious incident” before five hours, and went to the home, where they found the child and his mother stabbed.
Three units of the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) have treated the child and his mother, although the minor has finally died and the woman has been transferred to a health center.
In statements to the media, the mayor of Bellcaire d’Empordà, Josep Molinas, explained that there are no previous complaints in the family, and has indicated that the City Council has already activated the “protocols to care for the family, direct people , friends and family” through psychological counseling.
