After the Pablo Moyano threatens to launch a national strike If this Monday the Government does not approve the salary agreement, the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, ratified this past Sunday the position of rejecting the agreement.
“The Minister of Economy (Luis Caputo) said clearly that the Government is not going to validate increases above inflation. We will have to see how this discussion is raised and what measures the Government will take if a strike occurs,” said the official. And he added: “I think that these antics from Pablo Moyano, to all Argentines, have already made them a little fed up. So the Government will do what it has to do, from the moment the measures are taken.”
“Why are you going to approve something that doesn’t make any sense?” were the words that Caputo used on Friday when he warned that the Executive is not going to validate the joint agreement of the Moyano union.

On the subject, Franco expanded: “The Government has its tools. The union will do what it wants, and the Government will take the measures that it is legally authorized to take. Mandatory conciliation is a possibility, because it is a tool for these union crisis situations. If that happens, that measure can be taken, without a doubt,” he explained.
“If on April 8 the 25% increase that was signed for March is not confirmed, not a leaf, not a pen, will move throughout the country,” warned Hugo Moyano’s son, in case for this Monday the salary increase has not been validated.
