In the second case, at noon in a rural area of ​​Evros, police officers of the Border Guard Department of Orestiada arrested four foreign traffickers, because they spotted one of them illegally promoting eleven immigrants into the country, driving I.X.E. car, which it was found that the other three perpetrators had earlier transported to a predetermined point.

In the third case, at midday in a rural area of ​​Evros, police officers of the Border Guard Department of Orestiada arrested a foreign trafficker, because they spotted him driving an I.X.E. car and smuggle five immigrants into the country. The perpetrator initially disobeyed a police stop sign and sped off, while the vehicle was then stopped and the driver was arrested.

In addition, a foreign trafficker was also arrested, because as it was found, he earlier transported the migrants from Turkey to Greece, crossing the river Evros in a plastic boat, led them on foot to a predetermined point and boarded them in the above vehicle.

Those arrested will be taken to the competent Prosecutors, while the preliminary investigation for the three cases is being carried out by the Border Guard Departments of Tycheros Alexandroupoli and Orestiada.
