The President of Slovenia, Natasa Pirc Musar, will pay an official visit to Greece, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, from April 8 to 9.
In particular, on Monday, April 8 at 1:30 p.m., the President of Slovenia will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and then proceed to the Presidential Palace, where at 1:40 p.m. the official welcoming ceremony will take place. It will be followed at 13:50 by a private meeting of the two Presidents and immediately following, at 14:10, extended talks between the two delegations, while at 14:30 an award ceremony will take place.
For 14:40 an official lunch is scheduled at the Presidential Palace in honor of the President of the Republic of Slovenia.
In the followingnoon of the same day, at 7:30 p.m., Natascha Pirts Mushar will visit the Acropolis Museum and at 8:10 p.m. there will be a tour of the Presidents of the Republic of Slovenia and the Hellenic Republic in the periodical exhibition “Meanings: Personifications and Allegories from antiquity until today”.
Then, at 20:50, a dinner will be hosted in the museum’s restaurant, on the occasion of the completion of the exhibition, by the board of directors of the Acropolis Museum and the Antonios E. Komnenos Foundation.
On Tuesday, April 9, at 11:00 a.m. the President of Slovenia will meet with the First Vice-President of the Parliament, Ioannis Plakiotakis and immediately followingwards she will be guided to the exhibition “Facing Freedom! In the Greek Parliament, 2 centuries later”, for the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
At 12:00 noon, Ms. Natasha Pirts Musar will visit the archaeological site of the Acropolis. After the end of her official visit, the President of the Republic of Slovenia will go to Delphi, for the 9th Delphi Economic Forum.
