Through the Abu Dhabi Give campaign, the Community Contributions Authority seeks to provide support and benefit to all members of society, including volunteers and beneficiaries, by providing the opportunity to create beautiful memories and friendly relationships, consolidate feelings of familiarity and affection among individuals, enable them to make a difference in the lives of others, and build a cohesive and cooperative society that is safer and more loving.

Goals
Al Zaabi explained, in an interview with Al-Ittihad, that the Abu Dhabi Giving campaign aims to encourage community members to participate and provide support to address many social priorities during the holy month, as contributions received to the Social Investment Fund play an important role in meeting social priorities and cover the Authority. Community Contributions “Together” by collecting and directing social contributions to a wide range of customized programs focusing on the health, education, environment, infrastructure and social sectors. Thus, the Give Abu Dhabi campaign contributes to encouraging community members to work together to build a cooperative and cohesive society. Through the campaign, the Community Contributions Authority aspires to empower and motivate the Abu Dhabi community by creating a culture of community participation and contribution and creating a cohesive society, and reflects the culture of giving by creating and developing opportunities for purposeful community volunteering and building capabilities to stimulate social innovation and support the growth and development of the third sector to serve the Abu Dhabi community.
Initiatives
Al Zaabi pointed out that under the umbrella of the “Abu Dhabi Giving Campaign”, there are 6 new volunteer initiatives within a group of specialized sectors, which include: a television program and a live skills competition under the name Field Skills, which is held on the nights of the month of Ramadan, with the aim of providing training and educational opportunities for Emirati youth, developing their skills and preparing them. For the future, in addition to the Food ATM program, which provides meals to individuals with limited income throughout the month of Ramadan. The initiative also includes distributing food baskets, supporting sports, visiting cancer patients at the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center, performing activities with them, drawing a smile on their faces, and spreading feelings of joy and strength during their difficult journey by visiting them on a weekly basis to share interesting conversations and raise their morale, thus making a positive impact on their health, in addition to… Distributing breakfast meals to people stuck in traffic congestion during breakfast time.
She said: During the holy month of Ramadan, the Community Contributions Authority continues its tireless efforts in directing social contributions to support projects that meet the social priorities identified in the emirate, including the Kidney Patients Treatment Project, which is designed to ensure access to dialysis services for patients who are unable to cover the costs of treatment. This project aims to ensure that the Abu Dhabi Dialysis Center continues to serve all patients easily and provide all necessary treatment needs efficiently and effectively, giving hope to patients by providing the necessary treatment.
6 Promoting social and economic development
Al Zaabi pointed out that the holy month provides an ideal opportunity for community members to give back to their communities, and encourages them to think of innovative ideas that would contribute to addressing pressing social priorities and enhancing the quality of life. It is worth noting that the social incubator opens its doors for applications in April, giving social entrepreneurs the opportunity to address social priorities, establish social enterprises in Abu Dhabi, and provide supportive social programs, such as financing and mentorship programs, and many others.
The Community Contributions Together Authority is always keen to analyse, measure and manage its impact on society to advance social and economic development. Establishing a comprehensive framework for social impact represents a road map towards making a positive impact on society, one of the most important stations in the Community Contributions Together Authority’s journey towards achieving this goal.
She added: The Community Contributions Authority works together to measure impact according to 3 main levels, the most important of which is the impact on community members and the enhancement of community practices, which is reflected through several measures such as increasing social contributions and volunteer work, as well as repeating contributions and increasing numbers of requests for support. From various parties, and secondly, monitoring the numbers of beneficiaries directly and indirectly constitutes an effective method for measuring impact, and this can be done by monitoring various indicators, such as growth in the number of supported programs and projects and service beneficiaries, as well as increasing the number of grants and their beneficiaries, in addition to expanding support. Third sector institutions, such as social institutions, non-profit organizations, and public benefit facilities, and increasing the number of services they provide. The third level is evaluating the role that the Community Contributions Authority plays together in expanding the scope of government and community services, which is reflected in its ability to support government programs and increase hours. Volunteering, and enabling the third sector to provide basic services with the aim of addressing a range of social priorities in various key sectors, including health, education, environmental, infrastructure and the social sector.
