After just 17 seconds of driving, Nicole Good had an accident in the Super-G of the Swiss Ski Championships in Davos. After the dramatic fall, there was great concern because the 26-year-old slipped into the track barrier following the impact without any physical tension and remained motionless.

First aiders were immediately on the scene and put the Swiss woman in a stable side position. Good, who regained consciousness during treatment, was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Chur.
A day later there was an initial diagnosis, which caused a slight sigh of relief following the terrible pictures. Good suffered “a concussion as well as fractures and abrasions in the facial area,” according to a statement from Swiss-Ski. An operation is not necessary.

No serious brain injury following a horror fall
“Nicole was still accessible at the scene of the accident and the investigations have now shown that, fortunately, she did not suffer a serious brain injury,” said Walter O. Frey, chief physician at Swiss-Ski. Good was “transferred from the emergency department directly to the ward during the followingnoon.”
Good won the slalom on Tuesday. After a 20-minute interruption as a result of the accident, the Super-G was finally canceled.
The men’s race planned followingwards did not take place due to the high temperatures.
