THE ACTING (Acting) Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, asked the village heads in the capital city to play a role in protecting the environment during the homecoming for Eid al-Fitr 1445 H. Heru asked his subordinates to help protect the environment while Jakarta residents are in their hometowns.
“To the sub-district heads and ranks, then Satpol PP and (coordinate with) the nearest police station to protect the environment left behind by residents returning home,” Heru Budi ordered in his statement, Friday (5/4).
Apart from that, Heru Budi also asked the public to pay attention to electrical installations before leaving the house to go home for Eid 2024.
“Residents who are returning to their villages and when they leave Jakarta hope that their homes are safe. This means that electricity, stoves and other things must be ensured that everything is safe,” said Heru.
The former Mayor of North Jakarta once more reminded bus drivers carrying free homecoming participants from Jakarta to be careful when traveling.
Heru Budi also asked passengers to be patient when experiencing traffic jams on the way.
“Finally, going home requires patience if you experience traffic jams. Once once more, I, the DKI Provincial Government, wish you a happy return home,” said Heru Budi. (Ssr/Z-7)
