“It’s more difficult to have both children because my girlfriend is alone with them, but it’s going well. It’s the “fun” of being able to make them experience this, even if they don’t really understand what’s going on,” explained Ludovick Bourgeois.

Even if they have a lot of fun, his children’s favorite moment is not the show itself, reveals the singer. “It’s really when we go to a restaurant!”
This is also true for adults. “Often, we say that touring would be the “fun” if it weren’t for “shows,” he joked. The “shows” are the “fun”, obviously, but [en tournée]you go to hotels, eat at restaurants, you are with your friends.”
The son of Patrick Bourgeois nevertheless admitted that life on tour is not easy. “The fatigue builds up with the road and everything.”
This context also gives rise to funny moments with his team. He smiles remembering one evening when, on Highway 20 between Rimouski and Montmagny, the truck ran out of gas.
“We had to walk to the village of Saint-Pascal de Kamouraska to get a can of gasoline. In February, Rimouski is cold, very cold!” said the singer.
An “inexplicable” feeling
On the road since February for this third career tour, Ludovick Bourgeois approaches the stage with more maturity, even if he is always nervous before hitting the stage.

“When the curtain is closed and we arrive to begin, those five minutes are something inexplicable. What happens in our bodies, in our heads, it’s really inexplicable,” he described regarding what he considers to be the “best moment of the evening.”
If he takes his spectators back to the 80s by singing the biggest “hits” of BB, Ludovick Bourgeois, aged 31, never lived through that era. Would he have liked to experience touring during these years?
The singer says he is nostalgic for the freedom offered by “live” without a camera.
“Now, as soon as you make a little mistake, everything is filmed, all the time. You need to be at your best all the time, and that’s okay, but I find that it leaves a little less room for freedom and spontaneity,” he said.
The fact remains that he appreciates the fact that technology makes it possible to disseminate works and increase sound quality.
