Megyn Kelly Criticizes Kamala Harris and Michelle Obama for Praising Beyoncé’s Country Album “Cowboy Carter”
In a recent episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly expressed her annoyance at the praise given to Beyoncé for her country album, “Cowboy Carter.” Kelly mocked Vice President Kamala Harris and former First Lady Michelle Obama for their admiration of the singer and accused them of pretending that Beyoncé is flawless and without criticism.
Kelly questioned why country music needed to be “rescued” by Beyoncé and criticized Obama for her remarks regarding the album, stating that she always finds a way to portray herself as downtrodden in her tweets and posts. Kelly also pointed out how Beyoncé’s version of Dolly Parton’s song “Jolene” changed the lyrics to be more threatening, which she believes is not empowering.
