The Tax Administration Service (SAT) reported that this Monday, April 1, 2024, the official period for the Physical persons present your Annual statement of taxes corresponding to the fiscal year 2023
He pointed out that the taxpayers referrals, from entrepreneurs, workers who issue fee receipts and independent professionals, small business owners and landlords, have until April 30 to comply with said tax obligation, without paying fines, surcharges y updates.
He indicated that, through the annual declaration, said taxpayers must report the income total they received last year, the economic activities what they did and the withholdings or payments made for Income Tax (ISR) and, where applicable, the Value Added Tax (IVA).
Furthermore the Physical persons have the right to present the personal deductionsrequest the return corresponding to taxesif you have a balance in favor or, failing that, pay any balance o pay pending that they have with him SAT.
The authority indicated that, to facilitate said process, in the SAT portal los taxpayers have access to a pre-filled annual returnwho only have to compare, review the data, correct – if necessary – and, where appropriate, send through Internet before the end of the month April.

Who must submit the annual return?
He SAT pointed out that you are obliged to present the Annual statement tax if:
- You got income greater than 400 thousand pesos during the last year.
- You worked for two or more employers in the same year, even if you did not exceed 400 thousand pesos.
- You requested, in writing, your pattern not submit your annual return.
- You stopped lending your services before December 31, 2023.
- You provided services for wages to people who do not make withholdings such as embassies u International organizations.
- You obtained other cumulative income: fee, lease, business activitiesamong others, in addition to salaries.
- Did you receive income from retirement, pension, liquidation or some type of labor compensation.
- Generaste income on your own and issue proof of fee.
- you got paid income for some real estate: Department, casa o local commercial.
- you perceived interests o dividends.
Who is not required to file their annual return?
The SAT pointed out that you are exempt to submit an annual return, if you fall into any of the following cases:
- You got income exclusively by wages of a single pattern, even if said income exceeded 400 thousand pesos, as long as they have issued you payroll CFDI for the entire income and it is not tax in charge in the annual declaration.
- You received income from wages and also for interests nominal amounts – that have not exceeded 20 thousand pesos – of Institutions that make up the financial system.
