BCM Gravelines Dunkerque is a professional basketball club playing in Betclic Elite. Founded in 1984, it has played in the first division since 1988. Over almost 40 years of history, it has established itself as one of the bastions of northern sport and French basketball.
The fire which completely destroyed the Sportica sports complex, the home of the BCM, on December 25, 2023 had a major impact on the club and its organization. We want to turn this drama into an opportunity. That of reinventing ourselves and rethinking our entire infrastructure and methods to build the club of tomorrow.
In this human, sporting and entrepreneurial adventure that lies ahead, we wish to strengthen our teams with the recruitment of a Financial Manager (CFO) from the 2024/2025 sporting season.
MISSIONS
Under the authority of the General Manager, the Financial Manager (M/F) ensures the financial balance of the club and ensures reliable production of accounting and financial statements.
Finance, Accounting and Budget Process
You manage and supervise the budgetary and financial management of the club, and guarantee the reliability of the production of financial information (general and analytical accounting, budgetary process) for both club managers and sporting bodies (DNCCG , LNB) or communities. The scope includes the Professional Structure and the Training Center.
Contact with the accounting firm and the Statutory Auditor, you assume the role of “financial controller”.
- Development and monitoring of budgets and business plans
- Preparation of all documents related to DNCCG deadlines (intermediate and annual accounts)
- Production of accounting statements
- Implementation of management control procedures
- Implementation of regular reporting for Management and the Board of Directors
- Development and monitoring of cash flow plans
- Purchasing optimization
- Monitoring of the legal and fiscal framework
Assistance administrative
You will also relay to the General Manager in his daily activity and in the administrative management of the club.
Relations with organizations (CPAM, Mutuelles, Prefecture etc.) or sporting bodies (LNB, FFBB, FIBA).
You also ensure the production and monitoring of grant files with local authorities.
YOUR PROFILE
With a higher education Bac +4/5, you rely on successful experience in Financial Management / Accounting / Management Control, ideally in the sports sector.
Knowledge of the professional sports ecosystem would be a plus.
