My colleague Maxime Truman and his partner Jean Trudel have just finished the first season of their podcast Stanley25. We wrote a text on the subject earlier on the site.
The guys hosted Ced and Alex from HFTV.
But before the guests arrived, the two guys also chatted among themselves, as they often do. And among the (many) subjects on the table, there was the file of Logan Mailloux.
After telling an episode of the podcast that Logan Mailloux had been late for practices and team meetings, Max Truman received an email from Mailloux’s agent regarding it.
The gist of his message?
We were in slander and spreading false information. – Maxim Truman
Basically, the agent didn’t like seeing guys say things that are…true. He did not like seeing his client being portrayed as a player who did not take his responsibilities seriously.
Max’s response? He told him that in episode #9 of the podcast, the guys cleared things up by saying that for some time now, Mailloux had stood up and broken his bad habits on this subject.
But above all, he told her that it was all known.
Max talks regarding the time when, at a press conference, Jean-François Houle spoke regarding it. And I would like to add this article from TVA Sports on the subject, regarding three months ago. It was known, therefore.
“Uncomfortable” and “always late”: Logan Mailloux rolled up his sleeves and got his season back on track 🙌

The agent didn’t respond.
Did he know he was wrong and he wrote to the guys just to scare them? Did he just not know and found out via Stanley25’s answer? Who knows.
A lot of
– Amazing.
And this, even if they will play in… Sacramento.

– Juraj Slafkovsky ended his (regular) season and he will be miraculously ready for the first game of the playoffs.
Per HC Paul Maurice, Aaron Ekblad will most likely be out until game 1 of the playoffs. Maurice said he is quite confident Ekblad will be 100% and ready for game 1.

– Oh yes?
I am informed that Mavrik Bourque will be recalled by the Dallas Stars and that he will play his first NHL game on Saturday once morest the Chicago Blackhawks.
Bourque is having a thunderous season in the AHL when he is the league’s 1st point scorer. #lhjmq @Cataractes_Shaw

– Interesting.
Juraj Slafkovsky ranks 69th among NHL forwards in the number of hits distributed.
But I especially remember that there are only 11 players ranked ahead who have more points than him.
Knowing how to combine attack and robustness is an art.

– Sean Couturier injured. It’s easier to leave it aside that way, right?
Injury update per Flyers GM Daniel Briere:
Sean Couturier has an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. He will not travel with the team and won’t be available the next two games. pic.twitter.com/bfqw66P3QC
