The National Social Security Administration (Anses) announced the payment of an extraordinary bonus of $20,000 for holders of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH). It is part of the national government’s decision to increase the 1000 Days Plan.
The 1000 Days Plan aims to accompany the development of children from pregnancy to 3 years of life. After the 500% increase, beneficiaries will receive a total of $19,818 per month.
AUH: who can access the bonus?
AUH holders who have sons or daughters up to 3 years old will be able to access the $20,000 bonus. Holders of the Universal Pregnancy Allowance (AUE) will also be able to access it.
In this way, the amount to be received through bonuses for the beneficiaries will be:
- Pregnancy Allowance charges $19,818.
- AUH with one child earns $19,818.
- AUH with two children earns $39,636.
- AUH with three children earns $59,454.
How is the $20 thousand bonus collected?
The bonus will be paid together with the monthly AUH or AUE allocation, depending on the termination of the holder’s DNI:
- DNI ending in 0: Wednesday, April 10.
- DNI ending in 1: Thursday, April 11.
- DNI ending in 2: Friday, April 12.
- DNI ending in 3: Monday, April 15.
- DNI ending in 4: Tuesday, April 16.
- DNI ending in 5: Wednesday, April 17.
- DNI ending in 6: Thursday, April 18.
- DNI ending in 7: Friday, April 19.
- DNI ending in 8: Monday, April 22.
- DNI ending in 9: Tuesday, April 23.
Other benefits for AUH and AUE
In addition to the $20,000 bonus, AUH and AUE beneficiaries have access to other benefits such as:
- Alimentar Card: up to $91,000 per month, depending on the number of sons or daughters.
- Income Reinforcement: $18,000 bonus for AUH with children up to 14 years old.
- Progresar Program: scholarships for students between 16 and 24 years old.
