The Police have carried out an operation in the town of Usme, Bogotá, where four individuals were captured and an establishment closed.

These subjects must respond for the crime of damage to another’s property.

They were caught throwing bottles from inside a commercial establishment towards the uniformed officers.

Also causing damage to a vehicle that was on public roads.

The events occurred around 05:00 am, when the radio station received a report of a fight in a cigarette store.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found the establishment operating with the doors closed.

But with obvious signs of activity inside, including loud music and shouting.

The uniformed officers asked the people inside the establishment to open and evacuate the place, since they were violating the schedules established by the local Mayor’s Office.

However, people ignored it and decided to stay inside the establishment.

Given this situation, support was requested from the Official Fire Department of Bogotá to open the door of the establishment.

Once inside, four people were found consuming alcoholic beverages, including the owner of the establishment.

These people resisted police procedure and threw blunt objects at the authorities.

Due to the individuals’ emotional state, the uniformed officers applied the use of force and proceeded to capture them.

In addition, the owner of the establishment will face a temporary suspension of economic activity for 10 days, in accordance with Law 1801 of 2016.
