This is what emerges from a survey published by the Wall Street Journal which records how, mainly due to concerns regarding the US economy and the too advanced age of the president in office, the former president is leading in all the states that have determined the result of 2020. Among these are the former solidly blue states, which have now become “battlegrounds” of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, which Biden managed to reconquer 4 years ago following they had been conquered by Trump in 2016.

Polls indicate that Trump has a lead of 2 points in Michigan and 2 points in Pennsylvania while the president holds only in Wisconsin, with a 3 point lead. Trump also leads in Georgia, Nevada and Arizona. 3 states that were the main terrain of protests and accusations of fraud by the former president in reaction to Biden’s victory. Now Trump has a 3-point lead in Georgia, 4 in Nevada and even 5 in Arizona. The tycoon is also leading in North Carolina. Trump currently enjoys greater support on the economy, immigration and fighting inflation. The only major issue that favors Biden is that of the defense of abortion and reproductive rights.
