Prepaid medicine plans offered in Colombia
Although each company offers different plans, the prices that the user must pay will always vary depending on the risks you face in your daily life, where you live and your age.
Coomeva: This Valle del Cauca company offers around seven prepaid medicine plans that range in prices from 98 thousand pesos to 300 thousand pesos, depending on what the user needs.
The most expensive plan, which costs around 311,000 pesos per month, is called Oro Plus and has preferential services in home care and emergency care. Furthermore, it has no attention limit.
The cheapest has a value of 79 thousand pesos andunlike the others, only covers dental medicine, both in emergencies and routine appointments.
Sanitas: The EPS, recently intervened by the Health Superintendence, has more expensive plans than Coomeva, however it is one of the ones with the greatest coverage throughout the entire Colombian territory.
The most expensive plan is worth approximately 553 thousand pesos monthly and this will cover most medical services that may be needed, including surgeries, cancer treatments and hospital care.

On the other end of the spectrum, like Coomeva, the cheapest is a dental plan that is worth 120 thousand pesos monthly.
MedPlus: Med Plus is an international EPS that offers different types of prepaid medicine, being the cheapest plan in 478 thousand pesos and it has the name of Plan Indigo.
Compared to the other two EPS, this one does not offer an exclusive plan for dentistry, so the cheapest thing they offer has a value of 159 thousand pesos and it is the Youth Select Plan.
Sura: This EPS, which is one of the largest in the country, also offers plans with different price ranges. However, it is worth noting that the amounts to be paid between the majority of service providers are similar.
The most expensive plan offered by this company would be dand 489 thousand pesos and, like the previous ones, it covers most hospital services such as emergencies, home care and surgeries.
Colmedica: This company, for its part, has around 10 prepaid medicine plans that cover various price ranges and, respectively, different services for its users.
The most expensive plan is worth 560 thousand pesos monthly and it is called the Superior Elite Diamond Plan. On the other hand, the most economical would have a value of 75 thousand pesos monthly and it is called the outpatient emerald plan.
Axxa Colpatria: This insurance company, which does not have an EPS service, also offers different prepaid medicine plans for its users at slightly cheaper prices.
The plans they offer would have an approximate value of 220 thousand pesos and 170 thousand pesos monthlythe most economical plan.
