Dimitris Kokotas remains intubated, in the ICU of the “Gennimatas” hospital, following the cardiac arrest he suffered.
Yesterday, Sunday 31/3/2024, through the show of Kostas Tsouros it became known that the doctors are moderately optimistic regarding the course of the singer’s health.
According to a report by Espresso, the beloved singer is being intubated for a fourth 24-hour period in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Gennimatas Hospital. and today they will try to wake him up.
The newspaper, citing a source friendly to the artist’s family, reports that the results of the examinations performed by his attending physicians—not once, but twice— they showed nothing alarming in his brain, element that makes them hope that he will emerge victorious in this battle.
It is recalled that Dimitris Kokotas began to feel intense discomfort on the followingnoon of Thursday 28/3/2024, while he was rehearsing in the studio of “J2US” together with his partner in the show Traiana Anania. Immediately his stylist, Kostas Zisis, called 166 and as soon as he connected with a doctor he gave the phone to the singer, who described his symptoms. After 20 minutes the EMS rescuer arrived at the studio and a little later the ambulance that transported the artist to the “G. Births”.
On the way, however, Dimitris Kokotas suffered the second, stronger, heart attack, with the doctors in the “Gennimatas” Emergency Department making a huge effort to treat his condition.
As the medical announcement states, the singer “suffered cardiac arrest, resuscitation efforts were made, he was intubated and rushed to the hospital’s Hemodynamic Unit.” At the side of the son of the unforgettable Stamatis Kokota is his wife all these days who does not lose her hope.
