The Constitutional Court (MK) has scheduled the summons of four Advanced Indonesia cabinet ministers to attend the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) hearing. The four ministers are scheduled to appear on Friday, April 5 2024. Questions can only be asked by the judge.
“So the judges are the only ones carrying out in-depth research,” said Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Suhartoyo at the Constitutional Court Building, Jakarta, Monday, (1/4).
The four ministers summoned include the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini. Then, the MK also summoned parties from the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP).
Suhartoyo said the four ministers and DKPP were summoned to accommodate the interests of the judges. The summons is not to accommodate the 2024 PHPU presidential election applicants, namely Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD.
“Because this is information requested by the court, we will not provide time for the parties to ask questions,” explained Suhartoyo. (Z-8)
