HWith another huge hit, Adolis García entered the select club of Cuban baseball players who have 100 HR or more in MLB, a list that is not very extensive and that others might join in this campaign.
Bombi started the season the same way he ended the other: hitting hits from four corners in abundance.
This Monday’s was a “bombshell” that landed at 428 feet, with which Adolis hit the hundred full-round hits in just 1,781 times at bat.
Currently, there are 18 Cubans who have 100 HR or more in MLB, on a list headed by Rafael Palmeiro with 569, the island’s top home run hitter in the best baseball in the world.
