Roxy Vázquez was discharged from hospital following being hospitalized for the second time following contracting dengue. The journalist had already been admitted to a sanatorium a month ago due to the symptoms of the disease.
“Dengue part 2. Thanks to my family and friends for being there. Thanks to all my colleagues at the news and the channel for caring and offering their help,” Vázquez wrote on Saturday followingnoon on his Instagram stories. The next day, he confirmed that she might now return home. “Bye. Thanks for everything. Continue recovery at home. Happy Easter,” she shared in her stories accompanying a postcard from the clinic where she was admitted.

In dialogue with TN Show, the communicator commented that she did not catch dengue once more: “It was a severe viral condition that advanced due to the low defenses left by the disease.” As she explained, she must rest for the next few hours: “I have to recover little by little, eat well, rest, drink plenty of fluids. In 2 days I will have my platelet count checked once more.”
“My body still feels weak and tired, they told me that it is normal, that it is the post-dengue process,” he explained. On her social networks, the announcer had warned her followers regarding the dengue epidemic that is plaguing the country: “Take care of yourselves, please. “Dengue is not a joke.”

How to prevent the spread of dengue
Faced with the increase in dengue cases in different regions of the country, the Ministry of Health of the Nation insisted on the population to reinforce care for the prevention and protection once morest diseases transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, that is:

- Avoid bites with the proper use of repellents
