Palestine – The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported yesterday, Sunday, that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi discussed in a phone call the latest developments on the Palestinian arena.
The agency said: “Abbas briefed the Egyptian President on the latest Palestinian developments, the ongoing Israeli aggression once morest our Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the need to quickly stop the war of genocide to which our people are being exposed immediately.”
She added: “The Palestinian President stressed the importance of accelerating the entry of humanitarian, relief and medical aid into the Gaza Strip, and increasing it, so that shelter centers and hospitals can play their role in providing what is necessary to alleviate the suffering of citizens.”
Abbas renewed the State of Palestine’s categorical rejection of displacing any Palestinian citizen, whether in the Gaza Strip, or the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, stressing that “Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian state, and that it is not possible to accept or deal with the plans of the occupation authorities to separate the Gaza Strip.” from the rest of the Palestinian land, or cutting off any inch of its land, or re-occupying it.”
In turn, President Sisi affirmed “Egypt’s firm and supportive positions for the Palestinian people and their just cause, and its intense efforts to stop the aggression once morest the Gaza Strip and support the acquisition of legitimate Palestinian rights in the independent state.”
The Palestinian President expressed his thanks to his Egyptian counterpart for these positions, and renewed his congratulations to him on the success of the presidential elections and the consecration of the democratic process.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also congratulated President Mahmoud Abbas on the formation of the nineteenth new Palestinian government, and wished it success in its duties.
