With the participation of 350 sportsmen and women from all over the country, but also with organizational and competitive success, the 2024 Panhellenic Men’s-Women’s Taekwondo Championship was held in Patras, with “Tofalos” being at the center of the sport for two days.
It was, in fact, one of the biggest championships that have taken place in recent years, with the organizers (the Lightning and Eruption teams) taking credit from the Federation, agents, coaches and athletes. It should be noted that the championship brought a lot of people to our region, giving impetus to the development of tourism.
Of course, the show was stolen by the gold medalist in Sydney, Michalis Mourotsos, who was at “Tofalos”, becoming a pole of attraction for young and old.
We remind you that the championship was originally going to be held in the “Kostas Petropoulos” hall, but at the last minute it was “moved” to “Tofalos”, which had previously hosted a Panhellenic championship.
Helping to hold the championship was the Region of Western Greece and in particular the Deputy Regional Governor for Sports Takis Antonopoulos.
Finally, our children also performed excellently, proving that the future belongs to them.
