The Minister of Labour, Ms. Domna Michailidou, announced today that the digital work card will become mandatory for all industrial and retail businesses from July 1, 2024.
As reminded by Ms Michailidou based on a previous ministerial decision, the said application of the digital job card in industry started on April 1, 2024 and in retail trade on May 1, 2024.
According to newsit, with a ministerial decision signed today (29.3.24) by Ms. Michaelidou, an extension of 4 months was granted for industry and 3 months for retail trade.
Otherwise, the application – without imposing fines on offenders – of the digital work card in industry and retail has started from January 1, 2024.
