In Tripoli of Arcadia, the headquarters of the Peloponnese Region, the new branch of Pankritia Bank was inaugurated on Thursday, March 28. The store is located in Agios Vassiliou Square, at its junction with Ethniki Antistaseos Street.
The opening ceremony was held in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors. of Pankritia Bank, Mr. Stelios Pirpinias, the Managing Director, Mr. Antonis Bartholomaiou, members of the Board of Directors and the Bank’s Management Team. It was presented by the main shareholders of Pankritia Bank, Mr. Dimitris Bakos and Yiannis Kaumenakis, the Regional Governor of Peloponnese Mr. Dimitris Ptochos, the Mayor of Tripoli Mr. Konstantinos Tzioumis and representatives of the business life of the prefecture.
The CEO of Pancreatia Bank, Mr. Antonis Bartholomeos noted, among other things: “Pagreenia Bank is dynamically entering a growing market, focusing on strengthening small and medium entrepreneurship, further highlighting the institution’s role in the balanced development of the Greek region.” Mr. Bartholomeos made a special reference to the successful absorption of HSBC Greece by Pancreatia, noting that this is the only interbank merger in our country in the last decade. At the same time, the Managing Director of Pankritia underlined that in 2024 the merger of Pankritia with the Bank of Attica is planned, with the aim of becoming a strong component of the fifth banking pole, a pole with obvious benefits for the customer and the Greek economy in general.
As part of its strategic planning, Pankritia is strengthening its footprint in the Peloponnese, with the Tripoli store being the third, following those in Patras and Kalamata. It is supported by a 6-member team of experienced banking executives with deep knowledge of the local market and its needs, led by Mr. Panagiotis Bakos.
