Manama: In Bahrain, which is making huge changes in the field of tourism every day, the Ministry of Tourism has started to expand more pleasure boat services from different places to attract foreigners along with locals to the natural beauty of Bahrain.
The wide-ranging project will connect Bahrain’s well-known tourist destinations and major business establishments.
A huge project is being implemented to connect the National Museum, Avenues, Bahrain Bay, Al Fateh Corniche and other tourist centers under the control of the Capital Governorate.
The project, which will begin at the end of this year, will be completed in such a way that it will be expanded in the future to include various areas in other governorates.
At present 13 places have been identified by the tourism department for sea taxi service. Also, permission has been given to around 10 companies for water taxi service.
The first water taxi was launched between Avenues Mall, Widem Hotel Reef Island, Seaf Water Garden and Four Seasons Hotel. It was a huge success and gave a new impetus to the tourism sector and various institutions. Following this, the Ministry of Tourism has decided to expand Sea Taxi
