The internal controversies, in fact, do not subside. The path of the candidatures for the European elections must respect the nature of the party and the democratic foundation of our identity. If we want to impose a change of political direction, it should be done openly, with an explicit discussion in the designated party bodies, not with candidatures”. However, the idea of ​​nominating Ilaria Salis should not materialise, even if the Democrats do not intend to give up the battle to bring the activist detained in Hungary back to Italy.
