Vienna/Aschheim – Former intelligence agency Egisto Ott, who was arrested last Friday on suspicion of espionage, is now facing pre-trial detention. As the spokeswoman for the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office told the APA on Sunday followingnoon, the authority will submit corresponding applications to the Regional Court for Criminal Matters during the course of the day. A decision on this must then be made within 48 hours.
