Songs about God in Russian in Old Riga resulted in conflict (+VIDEO)

The published video shows a group of people praising God, singing and dancing to songs in Russian. While trying to record the singers’ activities, the videographer is attacked by a Bolt courier. A conflict arises. The courier even tries to take away the mobile phone from the author of the video:

“Put the camera away! What are you filming here? Turn it off and leave. You are not recording, but publishing,” the Bolt courier urges. Without waiting for an answer to his requests, he tries to cover the mobile phone camera with his hand.

“No need to mock me, get out of here,” the courier continues. The tense situation continues for some time until it is interrupted by another representative of the singing activists.

The author of the video asks him: “You praise God, but a man attacks me! Do you understand what you are doing here? He comes and pushes me!”

The representative who approaches introduces himself as Maris. He tries to calm the tense situation: “I apologize to the person who attacked you. I apologize to you. Please forgive us for offending you!”

The author of the video explains: “I’m just showing people what’s going on here. And you attack me.”

After some time, the aggressive courier himself came up and apologized for his actions. “He came and apologized normally. He probably didn’t deliver the package, but he apologized.”

The author of the post “X” asks whether we want to show guests of Riga such manifestations of local sects?

Commentators on the published video suggest that it might be the Bolt sect of couriers.

Another expresses suspicions, because people sing in Russian:

“I still have the feeling that this street singing in Russian is not a coincidence, already last year all sorts of Russian singing talents suddenly appeared all over the EU and also in other places. They sang Ukrainian songs as covers, now they worship them, but it is imperative that everything be in Russian…”

Still others give a sadder version, because, unfortunately, tourists are almost invisible in Riga now.
