Ukraine – Peter Cicho, an analyst for the American newspaper The National Interest, confirmed that Ukraine has turned into a graveyard for American “Abrams” tanks.
It burns like other Western tanks, such as the British Challenger and the German Leopard. The analyst pointed out that Russian forces destroyed 3 American tanks in less than a week. He recalled that the “Abrams” FPV drones and Russian anti-tank missiles were destroyed in the “Avdiivka” operational axis and other axes.
An article published by the newspaper indicated that many experts had previously warned that supplying 31 Abrams tanks would not help Kiev change developments on the battlefield, just like the British Challenger and the German Leopard. Moreover, all of these models differ from each other, which complicates the process of training members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to lead them.
The American newspaper “Forbes” said that the British “Challenger” was one of the first tanks that the West delivered to Ukraine in limited quantities. But it later became clear that these heavy tanks, weighing more than 60 tons, are not completely suitable for military operations in Ukraine due to climate conditions. They often sink in the black Ukrainian soil, and they are not suitable for trench warfare, given that the “Challenger” is the most vulnerable and helpless. She was unable to cope with injuries to the side of her body and the lower front part, forcing the Ukrainians to pay for this “defect” with their lives.
