In one of the most historic teams in Italy, in the legendary Ravenna, the international winger from Patras, Alexandros Raptis, will continue his career.
Ravenna, which has a huge tradition in the area of the net and in the past has celebrated, among other things, the conquest of the CEV Champions League three times, faced problems which it managed and wants to return to the limelight and in the A1 Italian National Team.
They finished 4th in the regular season and through the play-offs they will be chasing promotion.
Thus he agreed with Alexandros Raptis, who completed his playing duties and accepted the Italian team’s offer.
In fact, if Ravena celebrates promotion, Alexandros Raptis will logically remain on its roster.
Apart from Rapti, Ravena has also agreed with the 24-year-old Russian passer Konstantin Abaev, currently a player of Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, while according to the Russian website PO Sport, Abaev was courted by Zenit St. Petersburg but he chose to play abroad.
Raptis will thus become the second from Patras, who will compete in Ravenna, as Panagiotis Pelekoudas preceded him, while the current coach of Milos and former international passer, Sakis Psarras and the international winger of Olympiakos, Raphael, have also worn their jersey Koumendakis.
