Steven is a 36-year-old man who had a very traumatic experience following carrying out something he thought was harmless. The man had removed an ingrown hair from his groin, not knowing all the misfortune and difficulties that would be caused following this simple gesture. Steven quickly began vomiting blood and feeling extremely weak to the point of not being able to breathe. Unfortunately, many hospitals had already refused him thinking that he was making up what his sister told the Mirror.
Steven’s health quickly deteriorated, plunging him into an artificial coma. The man in his 30s actually had sepsis following an infection that occurs when the immune system overreacts and begins to damage tissues and organs. Steven was in a coma for an entire month, even undergoing open heart surgery.
This blood poisoning caused by the removal of an ingrown hair initially left Steven with only a 4% chance of survival. The man, miraculously, still escaped and woke up from his coma without having serious brain damage. The doctors told Steven’s parents that he probably wouldn’t make it out alive… Steven showed everyone that with courage and fighting, you can overcome serious health problems!
