The Mexican Consulate in Havana has published an important notice for all visa applicants with an upcoming appointment.
You should know that the visa application format has changed and applicants can download it from our page to complete the new form before their interview.
But first, remember some Important details of the visa application for Mexico from Cuba.
-The only page to make appointments for a Mexican visa is:
-Applicants should ensure they complete the form correctly and present it along with other required documents at their appointment.
-The name on the quote must match the name on the applicant’s passport.
-Cuban citizens need a visa to travel to Mexico, unless they meet one of the exceptions to the rule.
-Exceptions to the visa rule include travelers with permanent residence in certain countries, as well as those who hold a valid and current visa from certain countries.
The following travelers do not need a visa to enter Mexico:
- Foreigners with a permanent residence document in:
- Canada
- United States of America
- Japan
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
- Countries in the Schengen area
- Member countries of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia and Peru)
- People who have a valid and current visa of:
- Canada
- United States of America
- Japan
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
- Any country in the Schengen area

Consular activity figures in February:
The Mexican Consulate in Havana has also published information on consular activity during the month of February 2024. A total of 5,387 services were processed, including:
- 4250 visas
- 15 passports
- 6 birth records
- 1045 legalizations
- 3 requests for INE credentials
