The Czech VW subsidiary Skoda is working feverishly on a compact electric car for the masses. The first details of the vehicle were presented at the annual press conference last week.
The fully electric Skoda Epiq, which is currently only a design study, will be 4.10 meters long and will be available as a crossover model. The name corresponds to Skoda’s usual strategy: the brand’s electric cars start with an “E”; all SUVs end in “q”.

In terms of external dimensions, the Czech Volks-Stromer is comparable to the Skoda Kamiq. The robustly designed vehicle will offer space for five passengers and have a trunk volume of 490 liters.
The electric drive should have a range of 410 kilometers (WLTP standard). And the Epiq should also enable bi-directional charging.
