The Ministry of Environment and Energy announced the extension of the deadline for submitting applications for the energy upgrade program “Escoonamo – Emphirondos”. The new final closing date is 15 April 2024 at 18:00.
The program “Improving the energy efficiency of companies in the tertiary sector” is implemented as part of the action “I save – I do business”, with the support of the Recovery and Resilience Fund and amounts to 176.75 million euros. Specifically, it concerns buildings and business facilities in the following sectors:
- Trade
- Services
- Tourism
According to newsit, the businesses that wish to participate in “Economio Emphirio” will submit a financing application through its online platform. Businesses interested in assistance from the program will be able to submit a single funding application per VAT number.
In addition to joining the program, it is necessary to submit an Energy Performance Certificate (PEA) and/or an Energy Audit Report, depending on the eligible interventions.
