The ecommerce giant, Amazon, recently published a list of job vacancies aimed at Argentines. The company that started as an online book store offers 6 full-time and remote work positions for residents from different parts of the country.

Mercado Libre’s largest competitor was founded by millionaire Jeff Bezos in 1994 and has just incorporated the sale of cloud services, through Amazon Web Services, and streaming content, through Amazon Prime Video.

In each case, Amazon requires experience of between 5 and 8 years in each sectorin addition to an advanced level of English.

What salary do Amazon employees earn?

In an interview with iProUp, Alejandro Servide, director of Professionals, RPO & Technologies at Randstad Argentina, stated that “in large companies, the average remuneration for a digital marketing specialist amounts to $650,000 and up, while in medium-sized companies and startups, “Salaries are around $500,000. In SMEs they are around $350,000.”

Another sector in which Amazon is betting heavily has to do with computing and software development. According to this document, companies with an annual turnover greater than $300 million pay their managers a salary of between 1,583,333 and 1,922,766 pesos per month gross.
