Russia launched a tremendous offensive on Ukraine overnight. “Over 60 Shahed drones and almost 90 different missiles were launched during the night”, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reports via even a trolleybus.” “Russia is at war with people’s daily lives”, he urges, with “condolences to the loved ones of the people killed by this terror”. Among the affected areas are Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipro, Odessa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk. “Russian missiles have no delays, unlike aid packages for Ukraine. Shahed drones have no indecisions, unlike some politicians,” Zelensky insists. Russia has attacked power plants across much of Ukraine, including the country’s largest hydroelectric plant, causing widespread blackouts.

As mentioned, massive night bombings also hit the city of Khmelnytskyi, causing the death of at least two people and the wounding of eight others. A video shared on Ihor Klymenko’s official Telegram channel, taken by AP, shows rescuers pulling a person alive from the rubble of a destroyed building. She is a 21-year-old girl who survived a bombing that destroyed a private house.
