In the city of Netishyn, a local resident will stand trial for drug possession. The police discovered that the violator was keeping particularly dangerous narcotic substances with him. During the inspection, it became clear that the man had been convicted of a similar crime before.
In January of this year, employees of the criminal police department of the Shepetivskyi district administration found a suspicious local resident while working in the city of Netishyn.
During the inspection, the law enforcement officers seized from him a bag with a powdery substance and two glass tubes with layers of an unknown substance.
Examination showed that it is a particularly dangerous synthetic drug PVP.
The man explained that he kept the drug for his own consumption.
In addition, in May of last year, the perpetrator was convicted of a similar crime.
Currently, the investigators of the Shepetivsky district police department have declared him a suspect under Part 2 of Art. 309 (Storage of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the incriminated article provides for alternative types of punishment, the most severe of which is imprisonment for a term of up to three years.
