A 29-year-old Styrian fell down stairs on Saturday evening during a fight in front of a restaurant in St. Georgen am Kreischberg in Styria (Murau district) and sustained life-threatening injuries. According to police, the dispute with a 25-year-old was regarding enforcing house rules. The younger man pushed the older man away from him, who fell over the stairs and lay unconscious.
Witnesses immediately provided first aid and called 911. After being treated by an emergency doctor, the 29-year-old was driven by ambulance to Klagenfurt Hospital. Doctors there determined that the injuries were life-threatening. The Leoben public prosecutor’s office has started investigations into serious bodily harm.
