Sad news came from the music world on Tuesday (19/3). Sore band vocalist Firza Achmar Paloh or who was familiarly called Ade Paloh died at 07.14 WIB at Mayapada Hospital, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. This sad news was announced via Sore’s official Instagram account, @sorezeband.

“You will live another thousand years, in our hearts, forever. He will be buried this followingnoon, at Pondok Ranggon TPU. “We ask for sincerity in prayers from friends,” as written in the caption column of Ade’s black-and-white photo upload.

Apart from the band’s Instagram, this news was also announced by a number of figures who had an intersection with Ade. One of them is journalist Azizah Hanum, via her personal Instagram, @hanummm, also uploading a black and white photo of Ade accompanied by a sad caption.

“Brother, best friend, favorite musician in super favorite band. I’ve lost so much, bro. “But Allah SWT loves @batubata_merah more,” he wrote, mentioning Ade’s Instagram account.

Hanum also shared a short video of his interview with Ade. In the video, Ade talks regarding the meaning of his work for him personally.

“Yes, the important thing is that we make a work, we are satisfied with it, hopefully it is useful for people, accepted by people. “And we have to be somebody that makes ourselves to be somebody, we know ourselves from the beginning, we don’t have to be somebody that we’re not,” explained Ade in the video interview.

Apart from Hanum, radio announcer Adit Insomnia also reported the same thing. Through his Instagram account @adit_insomnia, he thanked Ade for the hospitality he had provided.

Allahhummaghfirlahu is the forgiving of the forgiving. Goodbye Bro @batubata_merah calmly. “Thank you for your kindness, friendliness and work, Bang Ade,” wrote Adit in the caption column.

Ade Paloh is the figure behind the melodious sounds of the Sore band’s songs, such as Half Five, Karolina, and Sssst… which manage to caress the listener’s ears very gently. This sad news of course makes the country’s music wilderness dark. However, Ade’s work will always be remembered brightly in the hearts of his listeners.

As the lyrics of Karolina that Ade used to sing, “You my light guiding me through the darkest hour of my life.” That’s how Ade’s work will be remembered. (Z-3)
