Brahim Díaz welcomed as “a king” in Morocco – Jornal OPaís

Brahim Díaz, 24 years old, who represents the colors of Real Madrid of Spain, joined the Moroccan national team for the first time in his playing career.

Upon his arrival, he was greeted with the star status he was promised, thanking King Mohammed VI several times for his support of himself and football.

The Malaga native, who traveled by private plane to Rabat with his new passport, appeared at the airport smiling and with a message in which he repeated several times the pride he feels for being in the country of his ancestors and the support he received from the monarch himself. I would like to thank His Majesty the King for the support he gave me, as well as Moroccan football and the Federation.

It’s a pleasure to be in my roots”, he said in Spanish to the media of his new national team. The athlete hopes to be able to thank all this affection not just with words.

“I see a lot of passion for football and a lot of pride in being here. Now I will thank them on the field for all their support and I hope to put Morocco at the top.”
