The new feature will tell you whether the difference in skill between players is high, but not which team is stronger.
Why is this function in “Labs”? Because the only way to know for sure how millions of Dota players will receive a feature is to release it. We’ve done extensive modeling, but there’s still a real risk that we may misunderstand how players will use this feature and how it will impact the matchmaking experience. We don’t want the possibility of mistakes to stop us from bringing value to millions of players, so we released this feature as an experiment. Access to Dota Plus subscribers only reduces not only the number of potential testers, but also the risk to the entire game while we monitor the new feature. As with other Labs features, time and feedback will tell if it expands, changes, or leaves the game.”
